Jonathan is an experienced chartered professional engineer and multi-discipline project manager with over twenty years experience in the construction industry, working for three large, multinational engineering practices in the New Zealand and UK markets before joining the eCubed team in 2018.
In the New Zealand Market Jonathan was heavily involved in a wide range of notable projects. These include the redevelopment of the Britomart Precinct, multiple Aged Care Facilities, Foodstuffs North Island Distribution Centre, and Offices, GIB Production Facility, Auckland and Christchurch Airways ATC’s, Saint Kentigern Shore Road Campus for Boys and Girls Schools, Resido Build to Rent, Kāinga Ora Highbury Triangle (Largest Build to Rent and Social Housing Developments in NZ), Auckland Airport Transport Hub and Operations Office, Fisher and Paykel Appliances new global HQ and has led multi-discipline building services design teams for projects in the Residential, Education, large scale Commercial and industrial markets.
Jonathan was a key member of the design team on a multitude of high-profile anchor projects with estimated construction values in the £0.5-1billion+ range ($1.0-2.0 billion NZD) during his time in the UK. He has extensive experience in the luxury hotel and high-end residential sectors that include the new build Peninsula Hotel and Residences in Belgravia (Londons first billion-pound hotel) and the Park Lane Hilton and residences in Mayfair, London.
Jonathan is passionate about giving back to the industry and currently sits on the Engineering New Zealand Auckland branch committee. He is an active member of the Society of Public Health Engineers (MSoPHE), the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE), Engineering Council (CEng) and the New Zealand Green Building Council where he is a Green Star Practitioner
